Corné grew up in Villiersdorp where he attended primary school. He matriculated at Paul Roos Gymnasuim and thereafter commenced his B.Sc. (Agric) Animal Science studies. He continued his studies by completing his Masters degree in Monogastric Nutrition. In 2011 he kicked off his career at Nova Feeds in Malmesbury as Monogastric Technical Advisor and in 2014 he joined the Afgri Feeds team as Operational Nutritionist for Western and Eastern Cape. He became Technical Manager and later on he fulfilled the position as Swine Specialist. Corné joined forces with Samuel Wolhuter in 2018 and started their own company, MyFeed Group, that supplies nutritional consulting to clients. Corné became part of the PIC team in 2019 while still managing a piggery and operating MyFeed Group.
