Marguerite grew up in Potchefstroom and graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2013 with a degree in B.Sc. (Agric) Animal Science. Due to her love and passion for horses, she started her farming industry career by being assistant manager on a race horse rehabilitation farm near Pretoria. At the end of 2014, she joined the Alzu team as assistant manager of Alzu Eggs. In 2016 Alzu took over the PIC franchise in South Africa and she moved over to handle all marketing related aspects of PIC. Soon after that she joined the technical services team, assisting farmers with technical aspects on farm and she is also responsible for all communication in terms of publishing in magazines, writing of articles, arranging and managing of events and brand exposure.
